This unique property is situated in Western North Carolina on a pristine forest mountainside overlooking the beautiful East Buffalo Creek Valley and Lake Santeetlah in Robbinsville, NC.
The approach to the Hideaway’s development is along Lake Santeetlah, then climbing 1/2 mile up the hard surface winding mountain road through the National Forest Service to the entrance on Hidden Falls Trail.
This shot was taken from across the lake on the bridge looking toward the property. The lake level is at 1,980′ elev with 3,000 to 5,400′ mountain peaks surrounding Lake Santeetlah. This Lake is maintained near higher pool levels for a longer period than other lakes in the region.
Every season has it’s own beauty, and although this was taken in winter, it still has amazingly gorgeous scenery throughout the whole area an on your 5 1/2 mile trip into town.
This shot below, which was taken from the property,  is when you’re leaving the main Highway, US 129 N, and you’re coming towards the development, by Lake Santeetlah,  which is 1 mile from Lakeview Mountain Hideaway Estates entrance.  It’s one of the many beautiful houses you’ll see along the lake, as well as right inside Hideaway’s.

Most of the lots enjoy views of the valley, Lake Santeetlah and the surrounding 3,000 to 5,400 mountain peaks that are part of the more than 200,000 acre State & National Parks Service controlled area located in Graham County, NC.
This Deed Restricted community offers underground power and phone service with wide roads leading to building lots that range in size from 1/2 to 1+ acre in size. And common area maintenance of roads and ROW’s is shared by deeded lot owners, with the current maintenance fee of $399.oo annually.
Home sites are available for construction of Log, Timber Frame or conventional style multi-level Cabins and Cottages. At present home sizes range from a 1 1/2 story 1,250 sq ft chalet to a 3 1/2 story 6,300 sq ft Timber Frame style home with a 4,000 sq ft 2 1/2 story log siding cabin currently under construction.
Reduced lot prices range from a minimum of $27,900 to $124,900, with pre-approved Bank or Saving & Loan financing, or Seller Financing with interest rates as low as 5.o% with 20 % down payment.
